Just So Ya Know
By Audrey Howard

About the Song:
"This song is the confluence of two separate influences. The first was something my mom said - I was home visiting and an old flame came by to spend the night - much to my parents' dismay and discomfort (we didn't even do anything.really.). The next day, my mom says to me, "I think you might be a bit promiscuous." Which was at once mortifying and hilarious. Fast forward to a dismal relationship in which my advances were continually rebuffed, which, as anyone can tell you, can give you a pretty f'd up sense of your own sexuality."

Lyrics:
You might think you know what it’s about
You might think you got some kind of clout
You left me up there hanging on a rope
But I can find my way back down just so ya know
Just so ya know
You might think you know what it’s all for
You might think you can find your way back to my door
You left me out there freezing in the cold
But I can find my way back home just so ya know
Just so ya know
And don’t make me out to be some kind of whore
I’m just a sensual girl and I want more
Don’t make me out to be some kind of whore
I’m just a sensual girl and I want more
I want more
You might think you know just where it’s at
And I know you think you’re a real, real cool cat
You left me with an aching in my soul
But I can come right back around just so you know
Just so ya know
And don’t make me out to be some kind of whore
I’m just a sensual girl and I want more
Don’t make me out to be some kind of whore
I’m just a sensual girl and I want more
I want more
