"Lady Like" focuses on female boxers and their lifestyle in and around the gym. From training to competition, I am curious about women who fight, their motivations, their methods, and the people with whom they surround themselves. I am curious about how their daily involvement in violence affects them as women, in a society that traditionally has discouraged overt violence from females. Consequently, how does that affect their identity? How are they perceived by society as a whole, and within the realm of the boxing world?
